Cowlyd Sluice Bridge

Douglas Fir bridge for Leat crossing, near Llyn Cowlyd.

MK Enterprises have built and installed this 5m long x 1.2m wide footbridge, to aid access across the Leat, above the villages of Trefriw and Dolgarrog. As the site was in such a remote location MK crossed the moorland with the bridge in flat-pack form and assembled in situ.

This bridge is constructed from Douglas Fir timbers and we have also applied anti-slip to the deck boards. The structure was first manuactured in our Llanrwst workshops, and later transported to site.
